Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, you shall have the responsibility of ensure that customer orders are received, processed and delivered efficiently as per specifications.
Your principal responsibilities shall include the following:
– Receive and capture orders from customers.
– Confirm pricing on orders.
– Invoice all cash sales on site, bran and chop included.
– Invoice all domestic credit sales on site.
– Invoice all export sales on site and ensure that correct documentation is used for cross-border purposes.
– Liaise with customers to ensure that deliveries are done as per order to avoid unnecessary returns and credit notes.
– Minimise pricing claims by ensuring correct pricing is used on orders and invoicing.
– Liaise with Debtors Department on status of customer accounts before dispatch of loads.
– File and archive documents in line with company statutory and internal requirements.
– Receive and attend to telephonic enquiries from customers on daily basis.
– Maintain a desired level of customer satisfaction to enhance sales activities.
– Compile any reports that will be needed by the Regional Sales Manager or any Sales Manager.
– Participate actively in the implementation of ISO and Kaizen programs in order to contribute to company compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
The ideal candidate should have:
• A Degree in Sales and Marketing/ Business Studies/ Customer Service/ Accounting or related.
• Three (3) years post qualification experience in the FMCG and manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ACCPAC, Computer literacy, Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint are essential.
The candidate must also possess.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, good planning, organizing and leadership skills, attention to detail, energy and assertiveness, good listening skills, decision making skills and analytical skills.
