Job Summary

The Claims Assessor evaluates, processes and pays customer and Health Care Provider claims in line with set operational processes and turnaround times, to effectively manage customers’ access to benefits in line with the Scheme rules. The Claims Assessor is responsible for conducting investigations into customer and health care service provider claims in order to ensure their validity.

Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience in claims assessing.

Education

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Healthcare relevant field.
• Experience in the private healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
