BH Botswana, the official JCB dealer in the Republic of Botswana and a leading supplier of construction, mining, and agricultural equipment, is looking for a driven and experienced National Aftermarket Manager to join our high-performance team and represent the prestigious JCB brand.
This challenging and rewarding role involves leading the aftermarket division across the country, including service operations and parts departments. The successful candidate will drive growth, improve efficiency, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our long-standing customer base.
• Oversee and manage all national aftermarket operations.
• Lead service teams, parts departments, and technical support staff.
• Drive revenue growth in service, parts, and supported equipment sales.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance aftermarket profitability.
• Manage contracts, business agreements, and service-level engagements.
• Identify and develop business growth opportunities.
• Maintain market knowledge on competitors and industry trends.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold service excellence standards.
• Monitor and achieve KPIs, budget targets, and cost control measures.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and OEMs.
• Improve turnaround times, warranty processes, and service quality.
• Recruit, train, and develop aftermarket team members.
• Analyze and report on division performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all operational, safety, and environmental standards.
• Stay informed about developments in the mining and construction sectors.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in heavy equipment OEM aftermarket operations.
• Strong commercial background preferred over technical only.
• Proven B2B sales success, with clear commercial and operational achievements.
• Leadership, organizational, and communication skills at a senior level.
• In-depth knowledge of earthmoving machinery; JCB experience is an added advantage.
• Technical qualifications and commercial acumen.
• Strong customer-focused approach and ability to work independently.
• Customer-centric mindset with service excellence.
• High urgency and precision in fast-paced settings.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, goal-driven, and proactive.
• Analytical, resourceful, and ambitious.
• Gaborone-based position, with regular national travel.
• Oversight of two workshops, three service depots, and two parts departments.
• Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional extended hours
